Bali, Indonesia, June 5th, 2024, Chainwire
Mandala Chain, a Polkadot parachain, has announced its initial partnerships and use cases, focusing on integrating government and enterprise applications with public and retail sectors. The first major project, IDCHAIN, is in collaboration with Indonesia’s .id domain authority, aiming to introduce over 10 million new digital wallets.
IDCHAIN: Pioneering Digital Identity Solution
IDCHAIN, built on Mandala Chain, creates a secure digital identity infrastructure on the .id domain, enabling users to store identity documents and interact with government and enterprise portals. This will transform Indonesia’s .go.id (government) and .co.id (business and banking) domains into web3-enabled portals, impacting sectors such as banking, healthcare, insurance, and academia.
Key Partnerships and Projects:
- Banking: Collaborating with over 90 banks, initially adding 40,000 new wallets.
- Healthcare: Partnering with 20+ hospitals, securing medical data and insurance on-chain, projected to add 900,000 new wallets.
- Gold Tokenization: Working with a major gold corporation to explore tokenization, onboarding approximately 300,000 new users.
- Infrastructure: MOU with major data infrastructure providers to explore blockchain applications.
- Product Authenticity: Collaborating with BKRAF to create authentication certificates for artist IP and products, targeting over 80 million products.
Indonesia: A Strategic Market
With the fourth largest population globally and a young, tech-savvy demographic, Indonesia is poised for significant blockchain adoption. The government’s Digital Vision 2045 framework prioritizes blockchain as core infrastructure, aligning with Mandala Chain’s goals.
